• VELUX VCM manual “Fresh Air” skylights include an insect screen and hook which can be turned using a ZCT 300 telescoping control rod (sold separately) or you can purchase a ZZZ 212 crank handle if your VCM skylight will be installed within reach. We are often asked why we don’t include those accessories with the skylight. The answer is: most customers order 2+ skylights, most VCM skylights are installed out of reach, and a control rod can operate multiple skylights. If we included a control rod and crank handle in every box, many control rods and crank handles would go straight to a landfill. Selling these products separately reduces waste and prevents customers from paying for something they don’t need.
• The room darkening shade utilizes a double-pleated honeycomb structure with an interior aluminum coating to block even the brightest sunlight, making it ideal for bedrooms, entertainment rooms or any other space where light control is important.
