• Front/Back plates: Front and Back Plates are made of Lightweight Alumina PE Material and has been tested with accordance to the NIJ Standards. It has the curved contour for more comfort while wearing it. The front and back plates also have the SAPI shooters cut in the corners to make it more functional.
• Per Plate Specs (Small to Large): SMALL to LARGE SIZE: 10"X12" (One Inch thick) WEIGHT: 5 Pounds 10 ounces MATERIAL: Ceramic (AL203)Tile Front with a Hardened Layered Polyethylene Backing, so it is a lot lighter then steel plates and can take multiple hits. TESTED TO LEVEL IV: This rated to stop armor piercing rounds up to 30-06 Black Tip Armor Piercing Caliber, and calipers below it which includes 5.56,.223, 7.62x39. Coverage Area: 10x12 Size Plate with 9x11 ceramic coverage on the front and 10x12 Polyethylene Coverage behind it.
