The RibBracket for Roof Profiles is the go-to attachment solution for North American trapezoidal, exposed-fastened metal roofs (R-Panel or PBR-Panel). It makes mounting HVAC, walkways, snow guards, railed PV systems, and more straightforward—without messy sealants—thanks to a factory EPDM gasket and a UV-protected reservoir. For added height with direct-attach mounting, choose RibBracket III.

Key Features & Design

• Compatibility: Use on common North American exposed-fastened, trapezoidal-rib roof profiles. These profiles are commonly referred to as R-Panel or PBR-Panel.
• Materials & Weatherproofing: Structural aluminum attachment bracket with EPDM sealing washer; The factory-applied, EPDM rubber gasket weatherproofs and makes installation easy. The reservoir conceals EPDM from UV exposure, preventing drying and cracking.
• Top Hole & Adjustability: The RibBracket features a slotted top hole, which accommodates standard M8 nuts and bolts, simplifies alignment and maximizes adjustability in attaching ancillaries.
• Mounting Options: Mounted directly onto the crown of the trapezoidal sheet using stainless-capped piercing screws (provided) or Bulb-Tite rivets (not provided). The sheeting-only attachment can be placed anywhere along the rib.
• Included Hardware: 4 self-piercing screws and 1 M8 nut included.
• PV Mounting & Height: Pair with the S-5-PVKIT® for rail-less (direct-attach™) solar PV mounting. When additional height is desired with the S-5-PVKIT, use RibBracket III.
• Warranty: S-5! offers a Lifetime Warranty, including a Lifetime Product Defect Warranty and a System Performance Warranty for the ColorGard® Snow Retention system, which is unique in the snow guard market and has a term of 30 years or the life of the roof, whichever comes first.
