The AMP Headset Downlead Cable is the reliable link between Ops-Core AMP Communication Headsets and a range of push-to-talk, intercom, and radio options. It keeps hearing natural and comms clear, even when the mission calls for a little extra patience and a lot less cable spaghetti.

• Cable Types:
  • Binaural - The radio information that is transmitted into the earcup will be heard on both earcups.
  • Monaural - The radio information that is transmitted into the earcup will be heard only on the earcup it is attached to. Allows the user to use two independent Single Channel PTTs and downlead cables to allow one ear to hear comms from one radio and the other ear to hear comms from the other radio.
  • Stereophonic - The Stereophonic cable serves the same purpose as two monaural cables for dual channel PTT purposes but utilizes only one cable. This will allow the operator to plug into a Dual Channel PTT device and split the sound out to the left and right ear respectively, no need to run two Single Channel PTTs and cables to the headset.
  • Aircraft ICS - Will allow the AMP headset to tie into a standard GA Intercom and will convert the mic impedance (5 ohm) to match the intercom.
  • Amphenol - Designed to attach the AMP headset to the legacy line of Gentex Modular PTT devices that used the proprietary style Amphenol port.
